Rick was a personal friend, as well as a business partner in bringing out the 32 bit version of Scope. Obviously this will delay Scope, but more importantly Rick will be missed.

03/16/1998 Big news for Scope. We originally did a joint development with Minisoft Inc. to develop a client/server online report viewer and management system. We developed all the client and server code, and they supplied MiddleMan as the middleware piece. Scope was a very nice product, but Minisoft got busy with their bazillion other products, and so it languished. We have now gotten the full rights to Scope, and have signed a deal with Seabreeze Software to do the new 32 bit client interface. Look for a new release of Scope in the near future.
